10 basic fashion rules for women for dressing like a celebrity!
Many of you have asked me that how to dress so that
We look amazingly
awesome and what are the rules we should follow so that we look like a celebrity and not a
nerd!
So here are the rules hope you like them!
Rule #1:
Confidence in yourself and your style is key.
If there’s one thing you can learn from
fashion models, it’s this: how do they show their unique individuality?
By not worrying what others will think. Are your curls look messy? Just
let them down without a care — you’ll look great regardless. Are you
two meters tall? You can still wear heels! Feel like wearing
a leopard-print coat and dungarees? Do it. You’ll look better and
feel better
Rule #2:
Your Colouring
The right colours make your skin glow and you'll look fresh
and alert. The wrong colours, on the other hand can make you look pale (not in
a good way for those you like the pale look!), tired and bring out
discolorations and skin imperfections.Another important aspect of colours is knowing how to use and coordinate colours to your advantage - such as bringing attention to your best assets as well as how to look taller. You can also use colours to create the mood of your outfit
When you’ve got
nothing to wear, wear black. Wearing nothing but black is the
default option for many women in the world. Black will never go out
of fashion. A black leather coat, in particular, will always
be stylish — they’re worn everywhere from India to America.
Rule #3:
Denim Is Your Best
Friend:
A good pair of jeans can change everything. As
can a denim button-up or denim jacket. It is the best staple to have hanging in
your closet, making any outfit casual (in the best possible way). A perfect
pair of skinny jeans can take any top and make it look awesome, an easy way to
look pulled together in an instant.
Rule #4:
Your Body Figure
By knowing the shape, scale and proportions of your body,
you'll be able to select the best clothes and accessories that create a
balanced silhouette that help disguise the parts you're self-conscious about to
you pave the way for your confidence. It also helps you know what adjustments you need to make to make any outfit will work for you. This greatly breaks down the barrier between you and the classic "no-no"-s that you are supposed to avoid - so that you can wear almost anything you want! Also If Your Weight Changes A Lot, Update Your +Wardrobe: This goes back to the point of not pretending things fit when they don't. It's important to make sure our clothing fits, and though it's hard to admit that you've gained weight (trust us, we struggle with this) or when you've lost weight, you can ignore the fact and stick with the same baggy clothes. Either way, it's kind of a fun reason to update your wardrobe.
Rule #5:
Watches Are Timeless
Sometimes the thought of throwing on an arm party first thing in the morning can be intimidating, which is why watches are awesome. They are classic and can represent your personality. And if you invest in a good one, it could last you a lifetime.
Rule #6:
Wardrobe Audit
It's time to build the contents of your wardrobe! If you want to make it easier to put on clothes in the morning - you need to make sure you have the important essentials that build the foundation of your closet.
The first step is to dissect your closet. These are the building blocks to creating a solid wardrobe that keeps you covered on all occasions all-year-around.
Rule #7:
Buy clothes that fit you in the store
It may sound like a silly thing to say, but how many of us have
purchased a pair of jeans or a dress in the hope that we will someday grow or
shrink into it? There is no point in wasting your money on something that you
can’t wear right away, or that you have to work to fit into! Buy clothes that
fit, flatter and make you feel comfortable in the here and now.
Rule #8:
If something’s lacking from your
appearance, add something bright
For example, combine a bright
bag, hat, or pair of shoes with a black outfit, and it’s
virtually guaranteed that everyone will notice you — and remember your
style.
Rule
#9.
Don’t ‘save’ your outfits
Okay, so there is a time and a place for a ball gown, but why
keep some of your favourite pieces locked away in a drawer just because you
don’t have an ‘occasion’ to wear them to? Create the occasion! Those leather
leggings will look fabulous underneath a casual sweater, and that beautiful
floor-length floral skirt will work perfectly with a plain T-shirt and sandals
while doing the grocery shopping.
Rule
#10.
Wear
Sunglasses:
You only have one set of eyes, so why not
protect them in style? Day or night, rain or shine, wear your
shades. For they exist only for one purpose — to make you look
perfect and protect your eyes.
